This is the complete, ready-to-teach scheme of work for AQA A-Level Geography Global Systems and Global Governance (specification 3.2.1). Every lesson, every specification point, all required case studies, three matched student workbooks totalling 130 pages, a two-version scheme of work document, and mark schemes are all included.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
Most A-level resources on TES are built from textbooks and then retrofitted to the exam. This bundle was built the other way around - starting with AQA mark schemes, examiner reports and past papers, then constructing lessons that teach students exactly what the exam rewards. Every explanation, every model answer and every exam tip uses the language AQA examiners use when they award marks.
Students who work through these lessons are practising on real AQA exam questions from the very first lesson. Every single Section A question (Q1.1 to 1.4) from the June 2020, November 2021, June 2022, June 2023 and June 2024 papers is used across the unit. Please note that due to strict copyright rules, no images or AQA exam figures are reproduced directly on the slides or in the workbooks. Instead, I’ve used clear placeholders throughout. For the exam questions, these reference the exact past paper year and insert page so you can easily hand out the official materials, and for general lesson content you can just drop your own photos straight over the placeholders.
The content is rigorously up to date with verified 2024-2026 data. You will find current UNCTAD FDI and WTO trade figures, Apple’s 10-K FY2025 data, SIPRI peacekeeping stats, the US exit from the Paris Agreement (Jan 2026), the High Seas Treaty entering into force (Jan 2026), and the Antarctic krill catch limits reached in 2025/2026. The lessons also clarify common specification misconceptions, such as exactly how to handle the “expiration” of the Madrid Protocol in 2048 against the AQA mark scheme.
Everything is fully editable. Every PowerPoint and every Word document is unlocked so you can adapt any slide, add your own examples, adjust timing guides or amend any activity to suit your class.
