This is a mocked up Paper 1 for AQA Core Maths syllabus 1350.
It is based on a full paper out of 60 marks so 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The preliminary material has been used for the Net Pay and Estimation Tasks. I have written it based on my experience of teaching the course and also marking for AQA.
The example mark scheme attached is for guidance. Those people who are familiar with marking the exams will be aware that for some questions there will be multiple different methods. So if your students have used an alternative method but have reached the same final figures and conclusions as long as their method makes sense to you then they should achieve the marks.
There will potentially be a Paper 2 coming out in the next week
