This resource contains two important documents in preparation for your student’s success this summer:

1) A detailed and specific question paper covering all sections of the exam paper (multiple choice, short answer questions and longer answer questions, including 2 more 8 markers). All questions are related to information we have on James and key themes based on the preliminary material:

Balanced diet / components of a balanced diet / how to avoid obesity and lose weight / carbo-loading / different ways of promoting and achieving a healthy active lifestyle / specific training thresholds for James / suitable training methods / relationship between health and fitness / benefits of regular exercise / important components of fitness / influence of different social groupings / YST aims and application to volunteering.

2) A detailed 10-page mark scheme stating exactly where marks are awarded and key subject content required to aid students’ knowledge and application.
