AQA Spanish Higher GCSE Vocabulary Booklet - Unit 1 (including online flashcards)

**A printable and online resource to support your students’ vocabulary learning for the new AQA Spanish GCSE being introduced in the next academic year (2024/25).

I have taken the vocabulary list supplied by AQA for the new Spanish Higher GCSE and selected the most important words or phrases to include in this booklet. I tried to keep the booklet to 40 words in each category (nouns, verbs and adjectives) and have only omitted items that students should already be very familiar with either as cognates (e.g. ambicioso) or through persistent practice in Key Stage 3.

I have also created Quizlet sets (of 20 words each) that include flashcards of all the vocabulary to help students in their revision. Students can use their mobile phones to scan the QR codes at the bottom of each page and access these online flashcards.

Moving forward, I intend to create pages for all 9 units in the new AQA Spanish GCSE as well as general vocabulary. I will upload these to TES as I go, so be sure to check back on my account regularly to see whether I’ve uploaded them yet. When finished, you’ll have an entire new Spanish GCSE vocabulary booklet which you will be able to print and supply to your students.
