Covers the AQA Chemistry (Trilogy) specification for Quantitative chemistry. Concentrates on calculations. It includes practice slides throughout the presentation so that the students can practice each calculation as you go through each type.
Covers: Ar / Mr / RFM / % mass of an element or compound / Number of moles / Conservation of mass and why the mass actually changes during some reactions / thermal decomposition / how to use moles to calculate mass / how to calculate Empirical formula / limiting reactions and how to calculate concentrations of solutions.
After completing the presentation and trial questions there is a revision sheet.
For higher groups I actually removed the examples and got them to make the revision card. For those struggling I gave the revision sheet as it is.
