A lesson designed to promote and develop pupil’s map skills, focusing on Asia’s physical Geography. Pupils will need access to an Atlas.
Pupils will complete a map of Asia, highlighting rivers, mountains and deserts. There is also an extension for pupils to plot countries and capital cities.
Pupils are then challenged to create an overlay to show Asia’s climate zones. You will need tracing paper for this activity.
Finally, pupils will be required to explain how Asia’s physical geography impacts it’s development both positively and negatively.

Suitable for key stage 3.
