In 2015, Alex Pandolfo was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and given a prognosis that suggested that while he could live for up to 10 or 11 more years, after the initial three to five years he would likely be totally dependent on care. Now a campaigner for Assisted Dying. Alex discusses the reasoning behind his own decision to apply for an assisted death, how the process works at the centres in Switzerland, and reveals how he wishes to spend his final day.
