This revision activity was created using the latest AQA A-Level Psychology specification (2025) although content and activities may be useful for other specifications.
This is an A3, double sided document with picture prompts to act as cued recall. Included is a teacher version where I have annotated each picture.
How I use this:
- At the end of the unit, students first blurt their annotation around each picture. Using a different colour, students then add any further information that they couldn’t remember, using their notes.
Content covered:
- Ainsworth `Strange Situation
- Cultural variations
- Animal research
- Learning explanation of attachment
- Monotropic explanation of attachment
- Bowlby’s theory of maternal deprivation
- Influence of early attachment on later relationships
- English and romanian adoptees project
I have uploaded an approaches version of this activity for free, so you can trial and see if this works for you, before purchasing the activity for other units :)
