Battleships: 11 different topics to play with support and extension material

These battleships resources are ideal for getting students to talk whilst playing in class. This is really motivating. The resources are suitable for KS2, KS3 and GCSE classes because there are 2 levels for some topics and all sheets contain contain basic language with scaffolding and extension material for more advanced learners. Target language phrases are provided to enable students to conduct the game and grammar explanations are included at the bottom along with ideas for how to extend the language too. The topics are as follows: Where do you go? (aller + places), What do you do? (faire + sports), Do you do sport?, Do you play an instrument? (jouer + instruments), What is the weather? (il fait / il y a), What do you do when (+ weather)? and Where do you go when (+ weather)?.
