Beginners Spanish - Los saludos

By the end of the lesson, students should be able to know some Spanish different greetings that they can have a basic conversation with other speakers of Spanish.

Lots of choral repetition with visuals providing opportunities to play vocabulary games such as: Beat the Teacher; pronunciation competition between both sides; splat; guess the correct image etc.

The scaffolded worksheet is split into four parts:

Part 1: Vocabulary - fill-in the gaps with the correct words.
Part 2: Reading Comprehension - Read the texts and answer the questions in English.
Part 3: Translation - translate sentences from Spanish into English.
**Part 4: Writing - **Write a short description about themselves using the vocabulary from today’s lesson. They may use the texts in exercise 2 to help them with the structure of their text.
