THERE ARE MANY ACTUAL SLIDES ON THIS PAGE FOR YOUR REVIEW.

In show business, when someone is called a triple threat talent, it means that person can act, sing and dance equally well. It is rare. Jimmy Cagney was one of them as was Doris Day. Hugh Jackman is one today. It was and is just as rare to find a triple threat talent in the fine arts. Bernini was one of them.

Bernini could sculpt, paint, and design buildings, fountains and entire city blocks (St. Peter’s Square). He’s remembered the least for his painting but he was an entirely credible painter. He drew all of his sculptures, fountains and buildings as step No. 1.

His sculpture, architecture, fountains and other three dimensional work remains at the top of the art world. As a Baroque artist, Bernini could hold his own with Rembrandt, Vermeer and Rubens.
