A fun activity to conclude the topic of BIDMAS. Aimed at upper KS2 but could be used with older children as a revision activity or with younger children as part of a maths club.
The power point slides should be printed and placed randomly, either around the classroom or in an outdoor area. The children answer the question on the slides and use the key on the answer sheet to substitue the numerical answer for a letter. When all questions are completed accurately, the letters can be unscrambled to make a saying. Note that some letters are used more than once and some not at all.
Great fun and good for collaborative work, particularly with mixed ability pairs.
