Hello,
Thank you for finding your way to this resource and my page.
This Scheme of Work is dedicated to teaching ‘Learning Aim D’ of Unit 2 (Professional Practice in the Music Industry) on the BTEC Level 3 Music Performance Course.
This HUGELY USEFUL resource contains six lesson presentations and worksheets, five general knowledge quizzes, and homework tasks—everything you need to fully prepare students for the Unit 2 exam.
Learning Aim D is essentially the final stage of teaching before the exam, and this pack is designed to make sure your students are confident, capable, and ready to succeed. It covers all four exam activities: Project Plan, Budget, Rationale, and Pitch/Presentation, while building essential skills in marketing, budgeting, risk assessment, and persuasive communication.
Most lessons are intended to last around one hour, but some include extended activities that can be adapted for longer sessions. The order of lessons follows Pearson’s suggested delivery approach and works well for Year 12 or Year 13 delivery.
Each lesson includes:
- A glossy, fully designed presentation packed with clear explanations, diagrams, and real-world examples.
- Hidden teaching notes with delivery tips and differentiation ideas.
- Practical and worksheet-based activities to embed learning.
- Suggested homework tasks to reinforce key concepts.
Everything you need to teach Learning Aim D with confidence is here - whether you’re new to the course or looking to refresh your resources. Your students will be HIGHLY prepared for the exam!

This is brilliant - thank you so much for sharing these. Just wondering, do you have any resources for Learning Aim C?
I've been working through this with my class before the January exam, it has helped so much to get them more focused and been a massive time saver. I've been wanting to do something like this myself but it's now all here. Great quality resources.
