A 30-minute documentary with supporting teaching resources exploring how members of the white British community experienced the arrival of Caribbean migrants in Britain after World War II, from 1948 onwards.
Based on social history research, interviews and discussions with older and younger people from Camden and Brent, London, this resource provides an engaging way to explore Caribbean migration, the Windrush Generation, Black British history, identity, belonging and cultural diversity.
