Bundle - Avoir and être (reinforcement, cover, retrieval)

A selection of resources to help teach/reinforce/practice the verbs avoir and être.

This resource bundle contains for worksheets and two PPTs designed to be used alongside teaching to support the learning and recall of these two key verbs.

1. Avoir - practice, cover, homework. This sheet contains an explanation of the verb and accompanying activities for pupils to practice recognising and using it. Perfect to use alongside classroom teaching, as cover work, as homework or on an internal learning and revision platform.
2. Être - practice, cover, homework. This sheet contains an explanation of the verb and accompanying activities for pupils to practice recognising and using it. Perfect to use alongside classroom teaching, as cover work, as homework or on an internal learning and revision platform.
3. être - independent learning. This is perfect for using with higher ability groups once avoir/pronouns have been taught. Pupils read a text and work out the verb paradigm for themselves using previously taught grammar concepts. Also works well as a cover sheet for pupils who may previously have seen être but need some revision.
4. Avoir and Être - practice, cover, homework. A sheet that gives pupils the chance to work with both verbs together.
5. Avoir gap fill - starters, plenaries, practice.pptx A simple PPT that is intended to be split across multiple lessons as a recall activity to help pupils easily use this verb independently under exam conditions.

Answers are provided for all activities, making them perfect for use by non specialists or for uploading onto an independent learning platform.
