This 26-slide PowerPoint presentation is designed to teach, engage, and please the eye. It has been developed carefully to accompany the following chapter in C.S. Lewis’ book, Mere Christianity: “The Invasion.” This is the second chapter in Book 2 of Mere Christianity (“Book” is really a section in Mere Christianity).

In this chapter, Lewis argues that Dualism and Christianity are the two most respectable philosophies worth considering, but that Dualism falls tragically short for two clear reasons. This PowerPoint covers his argument in detail.

The presentation has been designed with the teacher in mind. The flow of ideas is logical, and will help teachers walk through the chapter in an easy, efficient, and engaging manner. Also, significant effort was spent to give the student a bird’s-eye view of what Lewis is attempting to accomplish so that the student understands what Lewis is doing rather than only appreciating some of his individual statements.
