This 24-slide PowerPoint presentation is designed to teach, engage, and please the eye. It has been developed carefully to accompany the following chapter in C.S. Lewis’ book, Mere Christianity: “The Practical Conclusion.” This is the fifth and last chapter in Book 2 of Mere Christianity (“Book” is really a section in Mere Christianity).

In this chapter, C.S. Lewis discusses baptism, belief, and the Lord’s Supper (i.e., Communion, the Eucharist, etc.) as means by which the new life—the life of Christ—is communicated to a person. He then ends the chapter by addressing two things, one that bothered him in the past and another objection.

The presentation has been designed with the teacher in mind. The flow of ideas is logical, and will help teachers walk through the chapter in an easy, efficient, and engaging manner. Also, significant effort was spent to give the student a bird’s-eye view of what Lewis is attempting to accomplish so that the student understands what Lewis is doing rather than only appreciating some of his individual statements.
