I love resources that ensure all pupils are able to access & feel confident within lessons. It makes me sad when a pupil feels stressed because they don't get it. I love hearing a pupil say "I am on it miss".
All resources for main part of lessons are differentiated to 3 if not 4 levels of progress.
Starters are mixed ability so that I can get pupils to feel confident in areas they struggle on.

Get learners in pairs or groups to discuss how we calculate a missing angle in a triangle. Then ask learners how we would use or knowledge to solve the problems involving algebra. When learners say form an equation remind them how to solve using the balance method. For this particular task we completed them on posters for a display to show the challenges we had worked on.
