A spreadsheet I have used for the past two years to keep track of progress in CTEC IT.
The spreadsheet uses a VLOOKUP for marks given for each unit and it will automatically generate a mark for an LO. Really useful to display on the board for pupils to allow them to keep track of their own progress.
Grades for each unit should be U, P, M or D.
Add student details and marks for each section (mock exams) and a grade and is calculated. This spreadsheet has proved very successful for predicting outcomes.
