This lesson is designed to last for 1 hour and is resourced with videos, extension questioning, deep thinking and uses graphs/images to aid learning.
This lesson follows the Edexcel KS4 curriculum and looks at the causes of deforestation such as the need to build more housing, roads, hydroelectric power due to population growth. Students will then do a carousel activity to investigate the different impacts such as soil erosion, economic development, loss of biodiversity and more.
This lesson includes a starter, lesson objective, plenary, exam question and various student led activities.
