This is a one hour introduction to the causes of terrorism. It is part of a wider unit on extremism that I also have for purchase. Originally planned for year 9 but could easily be adapted for other year groups. A general definition of terrorism is established and then we look at the case study of 9/11. The question of to what extent it is fair to link Islam and terrorism is evaluated with reference to extremist and moderate Muslims.
