To do before running the CPD:
Get a list of staff attending and on what days. Prepare an example seating plan for each member of staff and a pack of different coloured stars to demonstrate how simple it is to selectively group students on target grade, ability, reading age and KAGAN group structures.
print off a pack for each member of staff and add a name label on to make it personal.
Allow people to start the nonsensical task on entry and then start delivering the CPD talking through each strategy.
Provide the briefing sheet before the CPD or after to further support your session and embed it further.
