Chemcards® can be used to help students learn a variety of skills in chemistry including naming chemicals, working out formulae of compounds, writing equations, learning patterns in chemical reactions and applying them to specific substances. They can be used as straightforward flashcards to recognise and learn formulae of common substances and particles.

This Chemcards® starter pack contains a printable PDF of a student’s pack of Chemcards®, three lesson activities/worksheets (with some answers)that employ Chemcards® to learn specific skills in chemistry and a set of teaching videos relating to each of the three differentiated uses to teach working out ionic formulae.
