This is an Understanding the World lesson all about the life cycle of a chick. We link this lesson so it is around the same time as we have chicks in the classroom and it allows them to do observations over a couple of days. The lesson would just need to be adapted slightly if you did not have any chicks arriving - maybe you could watch some videos online of the life cycle process.
