A complete, no-prep KS3 Religious Education enquiry: "What are the sources of authority in Christianity, and how do they shape belief, identity and action?"

A six-lesson KS3 enquiry into how authority works in Christianity and how it shapes the lives of Christians. Pupils investigate the Bible as a source of authority, analyse the belief in the Trinity, examine the incarnation and salvation, explore the diversity of the tradition through the Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant families, and evaluate how belief shapes ethics and action. The enquiry works across two disciplinary lenses — theology (the internal logic of belief) and the human and social sciences (how a diverse global community lives and organises itself). Beliefs are always attributed (‘Christians believe…’, ‘Catholics hold…’), following a ‘religion and worldviews’ approach designed to slot into your locally agreed syllabus. Scripture is described and referenced accurately, never fabricated.
