This is a low-mess Christmas card idea inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s famous painting ‘The Starry Night’.
The design also draws on mathematical 2D shape tessellation, so has a cross-curricular benefit. Suitable for KS1.
Materials required include deep blue card, yellow paper, glue sticks and scissors. A small amount of white paint is optional.
The high colour and contrast of these designs mean that they may be useful for situations where children’s card designs are sent for external printing.
