Christmas Classroom Countdown (Fillable)

Count down the last school days before the Christmas holidays with one quick, low-prep class activity a day. 20 numbered activity cards run from Day 20 to Day 1 (the last day of term), with a fillable planner, a days-to-go sign, display baubles and a class kindness tree.

What makes it different: most Christmas countdowns run for all 24 days of December, but school finishes before that, so half the cards go to waste. This one counts down real school days. Start at the card that matches the days you have left. Every card has clear steps, an Ask the class question and an Extend it idea, and takes 5 to 15 minutes with almost no prep. The activities focus on kindness, thinking, talking, making and moving, so every child can join in.

• Type your class name and the dates on the planner
• Print at 100 percent / actual size, ideally on thin card, and cut out the cards
• Seal each card in a numbered envelope and open one every school day
• Prefer pens? Every page also works printed blank and filled in by hand
• The lines and boxes are fillable; the activity cards and designs are fixed.
