This is a lesson to teach KS2 children about the Christmas traditions in Spain. I taught the lesson to separate Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 children and was suitable for all children. During this lesson, children learn some key phrases about Spanish Christmas whilst learning about unusual traditions which are different to celebrations in England! Children learn about why children's shoes are filled with gifts and produce an outline of a shoe which shows what the children would like for Christmas. Children then look at the tradition of Spanish lottery at Christmas time, watching the 2015 advert then designing a winning lottery ticket.
