✽ Directions:
Print out the sheet of questions for each student.
Alternatively, laminate one set of questions for students to share.
Print out a colouring answer sheet for each student.

✦ Notes:
Students will expand single brackets and collect like terms to generate equivalent expressions.
For example, simplifying -3c + 4(2c + 3d) -2d
Each answer occurs twice, once with a number and once with a colour.
The matching colour can then be used to colour the picture in a fun colour by number activity.

✷ Suggestions:
Students can cut out their completed picture and use it to glue onto a Christmas greeting card.
Or use them to make a classroom display.
