The Big Christmas Quiz is back for another year!!
A beautifully presented Christmas and New Year themed quiz consisting of six rounds of questions with embedded animated answers. Designed for English speaking schools around the world.
An answer sheet is also included for those who wish for the full quizzing experience, although the quiz works just as well on any paper for those wanting to reduce printing costs.
Round 1 - Breaking News:
10 multiple choice questions looking back at the lighthearted events of 2025.
Round 2 - Christmas history:
10 multiple choice questions about Christmas historical events from around the world.
Round 3 - New Year Traditions:
10 multiple choice questions about how people from around the celebrate the new year.
Round 4 - Festive Lyrics
10 sets of lyrics from everyone’s favourite Christmas hits. Sound clips from the songs themselves could not be included for copyright reasons, although there are links to lyric videos on YouTube in the comments of the slides for you to remind yourself of the tune if wanting to help the quiz goers.
Round 5 - Seeking Santa
Santa is hiding in 10 Christmas scenes from around the world. He has also been joined by Rudolph in five of the locations. Quiz goers to find Santa and Rudolph within 10 seconds and give the coordinates of the locations. Slides are timed to automatically move on after 10 seconds.
Photo round
Available as a printout. 9 famous faces disguised behind Rudolph’s nose and a set of antlers. Quiz goers to identify the celebrities and then a bonus question.
