This activity is for KS3 students who have already been introduced to the concept of pressure and the formula P=F/A.

It was inspired by the Dragon’s Den episode where the company Clean Heels pitched their idea, which won an investment.

Students calculate pressure from two different shoes, then calculate the difference this product makes.

There is a final creative task (if time allows or HW) to create an advert for the company.
