Halloween Collaborative Coloring Puzzle – Día de los Muertos Sugar Skull
Turn colouring into a fun whole-class collaborative art activity!
Students each receive an individual section of a large, detailed sugar skull design to colour. Once all sections are complete, students work together to piece the artwork back together and reveal the finished Halloween-inspired skull.
The designs combine Halloween colors, flowers, skull imagery and intricate Zentangle-style patterns, making this a relaxing but engaging activity for students of different abilities.

HOW IT WORKS
Print the individual sections.
Give each student, small group a section to colour. Group of 4 students.
Encourage students to use a consistent Halloween color palette – orange, purple, black, green, yellow, etc.
Students carefully colour their section while paying attention to the patterns and details.
When everyone has finished, bring all the sections together.
Students work collaboratively to assemble the large sugar skull.
Display the finished collaborative artwork in your classroom or hallway!
