A science activity to help students navigate their way around the periodic table of elements. The students are to look for the chemical symbol in the diagram and find which period on the periodic table it belongs to, then colour the section accordingly using the colour key.

This is a great activity for cover lessons for all abilities or can be used as an end of term treat. It is very useful to help younger chidren or lower ability or special education needs students learn their way around the periodic table and be able to recognise chemical symbols.
