This bundle includes a fully editable, 35-slide PowerPoint lesson and a 20 page workbook on using the comma in lists and to separate adjectives when two or more adjectives are used to qualify nouns.

The PowerPoint explains how to use the comma in lists and for coordinating adjectives in sentences. There are opportunities for pupils to insert the comma in the correct place. There are also opportunities for pupils to identify where the comma has been misplaced. The PowerPoint also contains a link to a short video on using commas in lists.

The resource is ideal as an independent learning pack for remote learning/distance learning/ home schooling and can also be used on google classroom.

Tasks on the worksheets include:

inserting commas in the correct places in sentences
identifying and rewriting incorrectly punctuated sentences
composing own sentences containing a list or series of items
punctuating The Twelve Days of Christmas with commas
composing own lyrics for the Twelve Days of Christmas and punctuating with commas
