This unit of work is designed to prepare students for the literature essay as part of the A level Spanish writing paper.
It focuses on Chapter 2 (febrero) of Como Agua Para Chocolate. It contains a number of different exercises including reading comprehensions, essay writing preparation exercises, quotes, grammar, listening and group work.
The exercises can be used individually as part of whole class teaching, used as homework, to help pupils read and understand the chapter in the wider context of the whole novel.
It is ideal for extension work or for independent learning.
