This activity allows students to compare and order decimal numbers (up to 3dp) - perfect for developing an understanding of place value through an engaging scenario.
Students will find 6 cards around the room (or on their table) containing the weights lifted by 6 olympians. They must then compare the weights lifted and order them by placing them on the Olympics leaderboard.
This activity also comes with 1 challenge to provoke higher order reasoning and develop mathematical thinking.
