  2. Flame Tests for Cations – colours for Li⁺, Na⁺, K⁺, Ca²⁺, Cu²⁺; using nichrome wire; practical examples and interpretation.

  3. Precipitate Tests for Cations – using NaOH to identify Cu²⁺, Fe²⁺, Fe³⁺; ammonia test for NH₄⁺; ionic equations and observation tables.

  4. Precipitate Tests for Anions – halides with AgNO₃ (Cl⁻ white, Br⁻ cream, I⁻ yellow); sulfate test with BaCl₂; carbonate test using acid + limewater; ionic equations and exam-style questions.

  5. Chemical Tests Review Lesson – mixed retrieval tasks, unknown identification problems, full ionic equations and exam practice.

Each lesson includes starter slides with title, learning goals and tasks, along with key terms, bolded explanations, and content checked against the specification and examination papers.
