Computational thinking

Students will enjoy learning how to:
Define abstraction, decomposition, algorithm
Perform abstraction- Pizza and concert tasks
Decompose a real life problem
Decompose an algorithm designed for a robot

Through the engaging tasks included on the 8 paged worksheet students can take ownership of their learning with protection from unintentional editing and a reflection space with guidance included.

Objectives utilise blooms taxonomy and provide students with a checklist. Stretch tasks are included to challenge more able students.

Excellent 2 lesson main resource for KS3 or KS4 algorithms unit for an IT/ICT/Computing curriculum.
