Conversation Skills - Conversation is like a Football game - Thinking Socially

Help your students learn that conversations are reciprocal and that there are certain rules people follow to achieve a back and forth interaction. It functions to set the scene for future learning about social awareness, understanding and use of language. The analogy of conversation is like a football game, aims to encourage children to think about conversation: initiating, keeping a conversation going and ending a conversation.
