This resource is to help pupils with number recognition and counting from 1 to 10. The colourful and fully editable PowerPoint contains 30 highly visual slides. It features birds flying on to a tree. In the earlier slides the birds are numbered and can be counted as they fly in. The second part of the PowerPoint is more challenging as the birds fly in randomly without numbers. In the third section pupils have to identify which number is missing.

This resource is appropriate for reception, early years and older SEN pupils. It can be used as a stand-alone lesson or for starters / revision.
