Counting in Nature: A Resource for EYFS and KS1 Children.
Counting in Nature is a fun and engaging resource designed to help children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1) develop their counting skills from 1 to 12. The activity focuses on using nature-themed picture cards to teach counting while sparking children’s interest in the natural world. By counting and recording the number of nature-related items on each card, children learn to recognize and understand numbers. Children can sequence the cards, or duplicate the cards, for making pairs. Add number cards for matching pictures and numerals.
Cut out and laminate the cards for durability and for use in games. Laminate and add dry markers and the resource makes a welcome addition to your maths corner or table.
Boardmaker licenced to use symbols.
