Scaffolded worksheets encourage students to consider how many covalent bonds an atom will form, depending upon its group number. Students then complete the electron shell diagrams on the worksheet for common molecules in the specification. A second worksheet develops the properties of simple molecules and finally a sequence of assessed questions allow students to reflect upon ionic versus covalent bonding and the resultant effect on the melting and boiling points of their structures. Accompanying Powerpoint presentation of electron shell diagrams and full answer sheets are supplied.

Very useful. Clear and uncluttered power point with all the relevant documents and answers. Dare I say worth the price tag, unlike a lot of others!
