This is a useful lesson for exploring issues of crime and punishment and the reasons for punishment. It involves group work where the students are giving 6 case studies and asked to preside as judges and decide which punishments should be given for the offences and why. It also has a slide showing the different punishments available and finishes off with some Biblical quotes. Originally created for an RE lesson but could be easily adapted as a citizenship, Sociology or PSHE lesson.
