Pupils encounter a diverse range of crime texts, from classic detective fiction to psychological and gothic crime, while developing their skills in reading, analysis, evaluation and creative writing. Texts include: The Speckled Band, The Case of the Registered Letter, Lamb To The Slaughter, The Cask Of Amontillado, The Count of Monte Cristo, Silence Of The Lambs, The Secret History and Murders At The Rue Morgue.
