Elevate your phonics sessions with our engaging Write the Room activity designed specifically for practicing CVC words! This dynamic resource offers versatile gameplay that solidifies understanding while keeping learners thoroughly engaged.

Directions for Use:
Get started by printing and cutting apart the cards. For added durability, we recommend laminating them for repeated use. Print out the recording pages and consider providing clipboards for ease of use.

If using in a center, place the cards in a designated tub or area. Children select a card, read the word, then locate the corresponding picture on their recording page, writing the word next to it.

For a Write the Room activity, scatter the cards around the room. Equip each child with a recording page and clipboard. As they spot pictures matching those on their response sheet, they jot down the corresponding word. This adaptable activity works wonders both indoors and outdoors.

The recording pages double as standalone assessment worksheets for CVC words or can be utilized as homework assignments or for early finishers.

Included in this Pack:

5 sets of CVC Write the Room game cards, each focusing on a different middle vowel sound. Every set comprises 10 CVC pictures paired with a corresponding recording sheet.
3 game versions: a straightforward rendition where students copy words they find, one with missing initial sounds, and a version presenting only pictures, allowing pupils to sound out and write the complete word.
Clear instructions for CVC Write the Room gameplay are also provided for easy implementatio
