Link your class’s art with learning about other cultures. This mini-project teaches children about the Trinidadian artist and sculptor, Cynthia McLean exploring her use of vibrancy and colour to reflect steel pan music.
Use teaching pack to deliver lesson on the history of steel pan, introduce the artist and encourage children to begin using different art techniques to create the same sense of colour and life.

Ideal to introduce children into testing out different art materials to replicate McLean’s pieces. Works well with oil pastels.
