Daily Routine: GCSE French Reading Activities

A 6-page suite of 6 reading resources for GCSE French on the topic of daily routine, including aspects of morning routine, school routine and evening routine. Vocabulary and grammar aspects touched upon include reflexive verbs, food and drink, TV and film, sport and school subjects. The reading activities contain stretch and challenge, and also aim to present high-level language to French learners in a manner which allows them to manipulate the language for their own purposes.

Activities include:

a matching activity linking sentences on daily routine;
a matching activity linking daily routine verbs with their definition in French;
a series of opinions on aspects of daily routine which must be classified as positive, negative or positive and negative;
a cloze exercise based on a higher-level paragraph on daily routine;
a narrow reading exercise on daily routine;
a reading comprehension with questions in English.
