A set of 40 cards with 20 simple questions and 20 answers in French to match up.
You could also play the memory game with these cards. To play the memory game:
You can keep the questions in one pile and the answers in another to make the game easier or mix them all up in the same pile to make the game more difficult.

The cards are shuffled and placed face down, spread out on the table. Players take it in turns to turn over two cards. If the question and the answer match, they win that pair and have another go, if they don’t match, they must turn the cards back over exactly where they found them so all players can remember where they are. Play continues until there are no more face down cards left. The winner is the player with the most matching cards.

The cards are good for revision at the end of year 7 or as a starter for year 8 or for revising questions and answers before writing a letter to a penpal.

Some of the questions are:
Comment t’appelles tu?
C’est quand ton anniversaire?
Qu’est-ce que tu aimes?
As-tu des animaux?
Quel est ton film préferé?
Tu fais du sport

There is also a sheet of the questions so that students can fill in their own answers in French by using the cards they have matched up to help them.
