Design and calculate costs for your dream holiday

Students use the worksheet to design their dream holiday. They then calculate the costs associated with their dream holiday (information provided on the "Costs" sheet) and make adjustments if needed. This the first in a series of lessons around saving / borrowing / budgeting for a holiday (Lessons 2-5 also available - "2: Methods of Saving & Borrowing" / "3: Research banking products" / "4: Budgeting" / "5: Applying" individually or together in a bundle "Saving, Borrowing, Budgeting for a Dream Holiday." Can be used as PSHE lessons, Introduction to Financial / Economic Awareness, Travel & Tourism. Probably more geared towards KS3, but could work for KS4 depending on ability level and prior knowledge.
