Design Your Own American Summer Camp!
A whole class game that will easily fill an entire day. Using a real summer camp as a basis, there are videos to watch, songs to be sung and activities to plan.
In groups, the children have a budget of £2000 to build, maintain, and run their very own Summer Camp. They need to come up with names, logos and slogans as well as managing budgets, staff and resources. Just when they think everything is working out nicely, the weather turns and the parents start complaining - then a sickness bug grips camp! Was the insurance premium worthwhile?!
This game revolves around a Powerpoint that delivers each task, and handouts where necessary. All you need is some big paper (4 x A3 is perfect) and a few printouts.
